First guitar.
What was the first axe that gave you sore fingers and guitarists cramp.
Mine was a Jedson Type 1 "Tele" purchased from the Birmingham Band and Instrument company Lynton Square, Perry Barr (since demolished to make way for Asda)

Re: First guitar.
I had an unknown brand acoustic when I was young...
My first electric was a 4 string Crestwood p bass

My first 6 string was a blue Squier Bullet like this one...

The Tele on the right was my first guitar, but I do love it, and imo looks so much better with the pickguard removed. Cost me about £140 from a guitar store in Brum.

Re: First guitar.
Started on my late uncle's '62 Hawk acoustic (way back in the 80s).
Was bought a Satellite Strat Copy as MY first guitar, what a pile of sh*t that was - plywood body, 5mm action.
Bought my first (with my own money) good guitar 12 months later (83) - Yamaha SG2000S.
You don't know how lucky you are if you're starting out now.

Re: First guitar.
Mine was an electric I bought when an insurance policy matured when I was 16. It was second hand from Carlsboro in Derby. I think it had the name 'Stewart' on the headstock. Was a double cutaway LP shape, tobacco sunburst, varnished maple board. DiMarzio pups and Schaller machineheads. About £100 back in 1988.
